Online e-Learning Module on IS Security, Cyber Threats & Review

Introduction

The Committee on Information Technology, ICAI has started e-Learning Module on Cyber Threats, Information Systems Security and Information Systems Security Review. Enterprises and Governments are making increasing use of Information Technology (IT)/ Information Systems (IS) to better manage their operations, offer value added services/ e-Governance. While this increasing deployment of IT/ IS has no doubt benefited the enterprises/ Governments and customers/ citizens at large, they have also opened a Pandora's Box of evils - Cyber Threats.


Objective

This e-Learning content aims to highlight the need for IS Security considering the emerging Cyber Threats through educative content including videos and also assist in making an assessment of the IS Security awareness of officials through a custom random questionnaire consisting of 20 questions each time.

Free Access


This facility is available for the benefit of ISA Members, ICAI Members and Enterprises in general after login through the login section. ISA Members can use their ISA Number and Password to access this facility. ICAI Members have to register with their Membership Number. Enterprises can register by giving their requisite information. Online access to this system is available through link provided on the Committee Portal at http://cit.icai.org/. Currently, this facility is available free of cost as a value added facility by the Committee.
